Hello. Is there a way to disconnect the noise when this

there is a button like sensor, where the door goes when shuo, it is balck
with two screws, if you undo the screws you can take out the sensor cut the wire and the put it back |

why not replace the switch/adjust the effected door? Is this a Caravan?

Spray WD-40 in the latch mechanism; works on Ford products.
