filling tranny with oil

hi,

i am just getting around to finishing my "wife's" 95 m-ed drive train
re-rebuild, (tranny, sebring s/c, engine,engine[opps] and wonder how to
add the tranny oil. i am using a length of clear tubing...i used a
couple , not full bottles of gear oil, so an exact amount of oil i have
used is uncertain. therefore, should i fill until it leaks out of the
filler hole?

Yes, that's correct, as long as you're calling the plug in the side of the
tranny, the filler hole.
