Cruise contol question
I've ordered a Fit, a manual transmission. My question is about the
cruise control..I know that depressing the brake while the cruise is engaged will disengage the cruise, but what about the clutch? Thanks. Perry |

Cruise contol question
I had a vehicle a long time ago when you bought aftermarket cruise controls
from Sears and installed them on the drive shaft...(it was the late 70's) I remember on that vehicle, it was an automatic, that somehow, while cruise control was "on and engaged", I managed to go from drive to neutral...and boy do I remember the engine revving up way more than I've ever heard an engine whine. I'm assuming you are intimating something similar? So, on my new Fit, 5 spd that I've ordered...the thing to do is finish all my shifting and then set the cruise? Duh...depressing the clutch shifting will disengage the cruise... I imagine that there may be a quirk or two... Perry |
