Default question regarding heating issue 98 sebring

Just wondering what would cause this problem in a 1998 sebring convertible
2.5L. the engine temp is fine. Car warms up fine, but the heat is not that
strong in the cabin until acceleration. Idling it cools down but not to
cold. step on the gas and the heat is fine?

Any ideas! I was going to have the system flushed to see if that helps.

the first thing to check would be the coolant level, if it is low, the
coolant wont flow correctly thru the heater core untill the engine reaches a
higher RPM, i would seriously dought if the heater core is stopped up

possible thermostat, make sure the hose going into the heater core is hot
and not cold coming out, that would indicate a possible stopped up heater
core

I think there is a bleeder valve to remove air from the system. An air pocket would give those symptoms
