A handy tip for filling up your tank.
While filling up at a particularly slow pump, I discovered that a stick of lip balm is the perfect size to keep the fuel flowing while I wait in my truck warm and dry as the tank fills. -- "I don't know where bin Laden is. I take it they have removed the handle locks in your area - bummer. I suppose also the reason they did this is to make sure someone is always at the pump - you may want to check the legality of leaving the pump unattended. I found in the rare instance around here with no handle locks that my gas cap usually wedges in pretty well. |

So what are they gonna do, keep you from paying for the gas and charge you with "sticking lip balm in the handle?" |

The problem that I have is that I have to keep my hand on the handle to
keep it from falling out of the filler neck (Porsche 944...) in all my other cars the gas cap does double as a handy handle lock. nate |
