Mobile 1 ATF for Accord
Hi,
Does anyone know it is OK to use Moble 1 synthetic ATF fluid for auto trans for Accord? I just uesd moble 1 ATF for my Toyota, it made the shift smoother that I can feel it. Since Honda ATF fluid at my local Honda dealer is $5.89 a qarte, and Moble 1 ATF is $5.99 in Wal-mart. Moble 1 may prolong the life of trany. I have seen more trany fail than engine fail in older cars and cost of trany repair will be more than resale value of the whole car. |

What year Accord is it? If the owners manual specifies using dexron 2 or 3 the mobile 1 should be fine. But if it specifies Honda Z-1, I would only use the Honda atf. |
