Seized Bolts to Anticipate?
I am planning some suspension bushing work for a 1991 Civic that is
driven in salty roads in the winter. I replaced the dampers and springs last summer, and it was a lifesaver to have been warned that the damper mounting bolts for the rear dampers are often seized. This car is my daily driver and I am trying to anticipate if I should buy any bolts from the dealer as insurance before I attempt the work based on others' experience. Chopface |

I would spray everything down with a good penetrating oil the night before
and just replace what needs replacing when you take everything apart. It was better than the advice that I was going to give. Jason -- NEWSGROUP SUBSCRIBERS MOTTO We respect those subscribers that ask for advice or provide advice.
