Clearly so! I hadn't thought about the number of flashes needed, actually.
I just signal and go, never noticing the number of times the signal flashed.
Three flashes sounds reasonable. Of course, you know what you've done,
don't you? All of us now are going to count the number of our lane change
flashes now!! ;-)

Clearly, this is a troll... and not a very good one. No vehicle
manufacturer would include such a feature.

They already exist. If I bought a car with that "feature" I would
disable it ASAP. I want to decide how many flashes the turn signal
makes, not the car.

I stand corrected. Clearly, this feature is designed for drivers who,
if they signal at all, cannot be relied upon to cancel it themselves.

Okay, so what happens if use your turn signals to change lanes for
example, but then change your mind. Will activating them the other way
cancel the flash or will they just start flashing three times to other
direction?
