Default Tire numbers - reading

I wanted to buy a set of new rubber for my car but when I looked at some web
sites, they have different numbers, I know what it menat by 205/50R16, but
what is "87V" and "97V"?

Bridgestone RE92:

205/50R16 97V
205/50R16 87V
