Default Nissan 240SX car turns off

Hi all,

I recently bought a 240SX 1992, manual transmission. I bought it in
Feb and I really love the feel of this car. However, two days ago my
car stalled for the first time as I slowed down to halt at a light.
It's happened many times after that and I have been trying to gather
symptoms. It usually happens when I am slowing down and moving from a
higher gear to a lower gear. I can restart my car immediately as I am
slowing down.. no problems there.

I really have no clue what's causing this. Anybody here have any ideas?
I hope it doesn't cost me too much..I got the car cheap and can't
afford much on repair. BTW I am in California.

Thanks!
KL
