Default Speed Cameras are all about collecting money

speed cameras are all about collecting money, not reducing accidents.
if you have (something) fitted to your car, not a laser jammer, that
tells you to slow down, thats what the police want you to do? slow
down, not break the limit then they get $75 and you get 3 points. why
is it done so sneakily, hidden transit vans, back of motorbikes? so you
cannot see them. I say the other resort is photoblocker spray since
they have radar detectors illegal in most states now. Check this out on
thier site.

If by "most states" you mean one (VA) plus the District of Columbia...

Are they illegal in DC? I went to college in VA and moved to DC
afterwards. I never put up my detector b/c I never wanted the hassle
of taking it off if i drove into VA. I didn't know they were illegal
there though.

They are illegal in DC as well. As for driving with a RD in VA, I
wouldn't be so worried about it. I drive in VA on an almost daily basis
with my RD. You just have to mount it in such a way so that you can
take it down quickly when needed.
