Default help needed

Well, I've gotten bogged down in doing something that looks absurdly simple.

Which is changing out the dual beam headlight bulb in my '96 Maxima.

The problem I'm having is simply getting the old one out. When I look at
the base of the headlight housing (inside the engine compartment), I can't
tell if it's one of those things where you simply twist it---or what.

All help appreciated.

Take a look in the owner's manual, it should tell you.

Well, I'm amazed and embarassed!

Thought maybe you were kidding about looking in the owner manual.

I'd always thought of those things as being strictly non-maintenance
oriented.

Well, I finally brow beat my wife into finding the one for our car ----
and ----lo and behold, it has a nice illustrated procedure for changing out
the headlight bulb. Piece of cake.

Thanks for the advice.
