Great "Project" Bus FS Portland area
Wes posted a message here a couple weeks ago about a '74 bus sans engine in
Vancouver Washington. I drove down and took a look and it is just as he has represented it - pretty much perfect body. I'm not particularly interested in it even though the price he's asking is very affordable. The owner previous to Wes stripped it down to bare metal and then shot it with primer. In the thin spots there is a little surface rust showing which is not a problem. What it requires at this point is stripping the body down the rest of the way, removing everything, and then media blasting and priming and sealing. That is more work than I care to do, even though it would be absolutely perfect when finished. If anyone is interested, his post was about 3 weeks ago or I can get you hooked up with him by e-mail. He also has pictures posted. -BaH |
