Default Tony Stewart on NASCAR

: Hi folks,
:
: just read an interesting article in which Tony Stewart accuses NASCAR of
: race-fixing by throwing needless cautions because of "dirty track"
: conditions under suspicious circumstances. The article also mentions
: that some drivers take some styrofoam pieces onboard and chuck them out
: of the car in order to cause yellows during an opportune moment for them
: during the race.
:
: Is this true? I would think that such actions would be caught be one of
: the countless cameras during a race, but I wonder if others here have
: heard of this "practise", too?

Common practice for years. NASCAR likes cautions. Lots of action on pit
road, and it tightens up the field.
