Default 98 Honda Accord Blower Motor problems?

My heater would only work at speeds 2-4, and then just recently quit
working altogether. When I turn the heater on now, I heard a noise
coming from near the driver's side dashboard and then stops.

I would like to check the blower motor, but do not know where it's
locating and how easy is it to replace?

Based on your early symptoms, I would suspect the control panel before the
motor.

How do you test the control panel?

You'll have to pull it partially out and trace it with a multi-meter to find
the fault. Or see if you can get one cheaply at a wrecker yard and just
swap.

The control panel is where the knobs are connected to control the fan
blower speed and temperature?

Yes. It's where you "control" it from...

Pulled out the control unit and found the connector was loose.
