Default wheel and tire

My car is '96 model Toyota Corolla. The tires on my car is
P175/65R14. Can you please tell me how to check if a used
wheel suits for my car? Since my spare tire was damaged,
I want to buy a used full size wheel with tire for backup.
What shall I be aware of? Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you,

-Kevin

The dimensions to check are diameter, width, bolt pattern and offset (the distance the hub is offset from the center of the rim). These dimensions will usually be correct if the wheel is designed for your vehicle, except that rim width (and also with newer models diameter) may vary depending on the tires mounted at the factory.
