Sure. Makes my earlier point about its being a bit of a stretch,
though.

Except that the germans running Daimler raped and ****ed Chrysler until
it was practically a dead corporation with a pathetic product line and
no engineering or design talent.

My Scion tC was made entirely in Japan and sold ONLY in the states. Go
figure that one.
