Default Speedometer doesn't work, transmission hesistant shifting.

I had a sensor replaced. I still have the same problem. Don't know if
it was the speed sensor. Is the speed sensor inside the transmission?

I took it to a reputable transmission shop and this problem has baffled
the technician. He also repaired some of the wiring. Could the problem
be somewhere in the wiring? Should I take it to a dealer?
