Default Air Filter Housing.....1997 Interpid

My Air Filter housing seems somewhat boogered. The middle screw will come
out but the 2 on the ends just turn. Is there a nut on the bottom of them
or some kind of fastener? The middle one has nothing and can be popped out.
I am planning on putting the KN Filter into it, I already removed the AFR
but the top housing will not budge. I suppose I could drill them out and
put wingnuts on them.

Thanks for your help.

Don't use a k&N filter they don't offer any noticable performance for you
car and they can let in particles that will harm your engine.
Trust me I wrecked an engine with a K&N filter

My suggestion is to use a stock, normal, regular air filter. You don't
think some expensive air filter is going to turn a 97 Intrepid into a
muscle car, do ya? It won't even be noticeable. Don't bother.
