Which BMW models use this brake light plastic holder?
Can you tell me what other models of BMW use this brake light plastic
holder? Where can I get replacement plastic light holder? Used or new are OK. http://www.angelfire.com/pro/young707/BMWBL.jpg I think this come out from a 1998 700 series tail brake light. This fits and works for the 1999 740 tail brake light plastic holder. Thank you. |

Looks like he http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com...mmerparts.com/ Or the dealer. It is used only on the 7 series. There are 2 different sizes - one part number says 4 per car, and the other says 6 per car. |

It also may be the wrong one - that's the bulb holder for the taillights on the E36 - the brake lights on the 7 might be part P9002-233421. On my E36 there are 3 different bulb holders. Part P9002-116169 is for the turn signal bulbs (2 per car), P9002-116170 is for the tailights (2 per car), and P9002-116171 is for the other bulbs (6 per car) in the brake/tail/signal/reverse set. Dan,
Can you tell me if your 320i bulb holder can be used on the 7 series? Another question, what years for the 7 series brake bulb holders for this P9002-233421? This is in black color. What about other bulb holders of different colors? Thank you, " > I've got 2 of that part number on my 1993 E36 320i. It's not for the 7 > series only. That part was for 1999 model (Bob's link has year=1999 in it, and I just pulled up the other bulb hold part for the same year). My 320 has 3 different colours of holder, with different fittings - one for the taillight (white), one for the fog light (off white), and the rest all have the same holder (black). Dan, For your 320, does your different color bulb holder interchangable?
Thank you. My '94 3 Series cars have that lamp holder. There are several different
holders, and you need the right one for the position it fits in. There are some stores on eBay that sell this sort of thing.
