Hasn't really been a concern so far.

What kind of numbers online Larry?

Will it support 50+ 60+ ?? drivers in a race?
Has that been tested? What's the highest number you have been online with?

Thanks in advance

Larry - Can you confirm that yellow flags and pit stops have not yet been
implemented? Think I seen that on the RSC forum and was just curious if it
were true and what other big items are still missing. Thanks.

Off topic here, but John Henry didn't devise sabermetrics. Bill James
(who now works for/in collaboration with JH) is the one who came up
with the idea. I owned a lot of books by Bill James as stats were the
life blood of the APBA baseball league (a card and dice game based on
actual stats) that I was in each summer as soon as school ended.

As a follow up to my own post, I suppose the Bill James himself isn't
even the one who "invented" it. He is just the biggest "name"
associated with it.

Thanks. And smaller fields based on your previous posts I see as well.

Again I think I will take a wait and see approach, seems to be a lot missing
from what other sims offer, some things added, some things removed or not
implemented yet. Kind of feels like the next phase is a paid beta until
they get things a bit more finished.

Heck...I hate to have to answer my own question.... but it seems like no-one
else will !?!
Strange me thinks

Nice "cover answer" Larry, but is that it?
Can you or anyone actually answer the other questions posted here?

Of course in the same way, iRacing "hasn't really been a concern for me
either" as I haven't and probably won't pay for it.

I'm also a bit appalled with the "marketing strategy" er, um, I mean
"special offers" (do I have 10 yet?) that are being paraded around and
MASCARADED as it they are actually some sort of "special offer".

~allowing me to join and pay~ is NOT a "special offer".

A FREE TRIAL - well that might be a special offer. 2 for 1 - I think that
is a special offer...
but sign up now and pay forever.... so that someone else can pay later (get
everything up to that point for the entrance fee) and then pay forever?
Seems a little inequitable to me.
Or will people that join in say a year from now... will they have to pay
$500+ "initiation" to get the updates and features that are available at
that time?

Personally, I smell a bad concepted business model and a WORSE smelling
marketing "special offer" campaign.

Excuse me.... the stink makes me want to leave the forum for a moment.

Sheesh

Bill James coined the term sabermetrics. It's named as a tribute to
the SABR organization, which is was (and I assume is) a part of.
