Default Monster Sound System?

Has anyone ever put a MONSTER sound system into an XJ? By "monster" I
mean like amp under the back seat with new speakers where ever they can
fit. Probably replace exhisting speakers with better performing ones. I
was even thinking about mounting a sub woofer inside the spare tire. I
love the stock amfm/cd player and would like to keep it. Thoughts?
Thanks!

Yes it has been done. I haven't done it yet. Probably will once I get
it paid off and finish rebuiling my CJ.

Instead of putting a sub in the spare tire you might consider something
like this:

In this group when we talk about MONSTER sound it's the built 360, 304, or
even 258; it's the sound that a locker makes when rounding a turn; it's the
flapping of boggers on that rock you're trying to climb; it's the snap of
that 35 axle with oversized tires....
