Default Fuse for taillights and instrumental lights keeps blowing!!! HELP PLEASE

So the other day i'm driving and i notice that my instrumental lights
go off, so i figured i just blew a fuse, i replace the fuse and it was
fine, for about a day. I replaced the same fuse again but this time
the fuse immediatley blew again. So now i have been drving around
with no taillights or license plate lights for the past week. I can't
seem to figure out why the fuse keeps blowing. I recently put a new cd
player in but it works fine and nothing has gone wrong for at least a
month. Maybe the wiring to the cd player is wrong but i'm not sure.
Any suggestions, or answers anything will help!!!

Thank you very much,

Andy

Can I infer from your comment about the CD player that it has just recently
been installed? If so, that is where you should look first. Most
aftermarket radios/cd players do not use either the dash dimmer wire, the
instrument panel lights wire, or both. Those wires have to be taped off so
they don't short against anything in the dash when they bounce around back
in there. If the tip of one of those wires touches anything metal, it will
instantly blow the instrument panel/tail light fuse.
