Default ac blowing warm after 1-2 hrs. of driving

my ac does not blow cold after driving for 1-2 hours at highway speeds
70-80 mph. the air coming out the vents seems to just come out slow and
warm no matter what speed you put the fan on. Stop the car get out for
a few min, then back in and every thing works fine or shut the ac down
when diving wait a few min.turn the ac on and everything is fine. My
car is a 1999 chev. monte carlo

Have you checked to see if you have the proper amount of refrigerant in
the system? Perhaps some has leaked out... have you detected any leaks? If
all is well, then you may have a condensor problem.

Good Luck,
