Maybe, but people accept the fact that other people like to be comfortable and put their feet up. Hell entire companies have been founded and are successful selling foot rests. Yet nobody, except you from the tone of your message, accepts people parking their vehicles in the middle of traffic to have a conversation, especially when there is a rather large parking lot 3 feet away. ************************* Dave |

A person choosing to sit on a footrest would be responsible for any foreign substances they contact. A person choosing a chair may not be expected to suspect there may be some stray asphalt there. Would you like your wife/girlfriend in a nice dress to sit there afterward? Back in the olden days, using a chair to rest the feet in public would be considered extremely rude, not only for the potential for transfer of dirt but for merely displaying the bottom of one's shoes and whatever may be collected there. > Yet nobody, except you > from the tone of your message, accepts people parking their vehicles > in the middle of traffic to have a conversation, especially when there > is a rather large parking lot 3 feet away. Well... I accept it. Looks to me like there's plenty of room for two cars to pass (at appropiate parking lot velocities)... and the lot looks pretty full... and they were only there a "few minutes". Just perhaps... they were thoughtfully leaving a couple parking spaces available since they were only going to be a "few minutes" and would not be entering the building/s. Knowing Scott's proclivity for exagerration I'm suspecting a "few minutes" could mean 45-60 seconds. Perhaps they were MFFY's, perhaps not. Judging another's -motivation- can often prove inaccurate since there's always another perspective. ----- - gpsman |
