1990 Dodge Spirit idling too fast
I have a 1990 2.5 L non turbo 4 cyl Dodge Spirit that idles too fast. I
have found that if I disconnect the vacuum hose that runs from the purge canister to the solenoid everything is fine. If I block this hose, which has a vacumm on it, the idle is correct, but as soon as I touch it against the canister connection it speeds up again. Any ideas what that may be? Thanks |

Thanks for the input. I checked that and it is ok. The problem was a
combination of a leaky PCV hose and the PCV itself. Idle all back to normal now. Thanks |
