I have a preference for Gates products.
http://www.gates.com/brochure.cfm?br...cation_id=3487 The car has one pulley and one tensioner. The hydraulic unit that pushes on the tensioner pulley is not part of the Gates Timing Kit. Don't know if it should be replaced. The waterpump should come with an o-ring. Do check when you pick it up. I always like to use the NAPA *NEW pumps*. No reman pumps for me. Yes, you can get the pulley only for the serpentine belt tensioner like about 40-50% the cost of the entire auto tensioner. Also change out the oil seals while you are at it. Check Gates' online catalog. |
