Bingo. You've got a heat spotted flywheel or clutch plate. Cause by
overheating of the clutch... You'll need a new clutch and maybe a new flywheel, if it can't be turned. If this is happening on a high mileage car, it might be because whomever did the clutch didn't turn the flywheel last time. Ask about turning the flywheel when you take it in.. and demand to see the flywheel when it's off the car. If you notice spotting on the flywheel, you'll have these symptoms. Someone isn't driving your cars correctly.. most likely riding the clutch during certain driving activities. |
