1996 Buick Century
While on a trip to Florida the anti-lock brake light came on. It was solid
and not flashing, so according to the owners manual, the brakes were ok, but I did not have ABS brakes. I've noticed that the light comes on intermittingly. Sometimes when I get in and drive it'll stay off and then other times it'll come on after a few miles. Does anyone have any ideas what I might check ? (fluids good, no leaks, the cars got only 28K on it) Also, I don't have manual yet but with my Chrysler van, you can turn the key on/off three times and the engine light will flash the error codes if there are any. Does Buick have some similar procedure to check the error codes without an analyzer or scan tool ? thanks nick ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

Abs codes require a abs capable scanner and at times this is necesary to
pinpoint wheel sensor readings for diagnosis. "ncs" > wrote in message ... > While on a trip to Florida the anti-lock brake light came on.
