The head of state is the Queen, but we have a Gov't appointed rep. that does the job. It goes Parlement ( including PM and all ministers along with the cabinet - as in your secretaries - but otherwise like your house of reps.), Senate (completely separate from Parlement - appointed by PM) Governor General and Queen. To change the constitution requires the Queens signature. Anything else, just works it's way up to the GG. We presently have 5 different parties sitting in Parlement. |

Here in the UK between the 50s and 60s you could specify whether you wanted column or floor change, especially on the Vauxhall range of cars. -- Clive |

That Olive Drab Army 1963 1/2 Ton Ford pickup truck gearshift, it was
stuck right there where the shift lever joins the joint in the tube going down the steering wheel tube, tube that surrounds the steering wheel shaft.I had already checked the shift linkage under the hood.Maybe I should have been in Motor Pool instead of humping ammo. The 2 1/2 Ton trucks I drove had automatic shift transmissions. There were two levers sitcking out under the drivers seat. One of the levers put the truck in Grandmaw gear. The other lever put the truck in all wheel drive. The trucks were Governed, top speed was 45 miles per hour. One time I was playing with the air compressor valve under the dashboard.I ran off the road into a muddy ditch, it felt like swooping down into a great big marshmallow.A few minutes later, another truck stopped by.He called the Air Force to send a wrecker truck to pull me out of the ditch.I told my Army Sgt a bumblebee had caused me to run into the ditch. www.114aviationcompany.com www.tsna.org cuhulin |

He called 1 engine a volcano, talked about sex in this car
program, his big belly implies laziness. His long hair co-host said "Everything is invented by british", both are nuts. I would not watch if this program is not f-o-c on air. | I believe he hates America and all things American. Likely because [i] yanks corrupt his language : call a full -stop a period, a spanner a wrench, autumn as fall [ii] Noraid funded IRA. |
