Does anybody know what the little blue light is actually for? And the
area next to it that appears to be a speaker, what is that? Thanks, Bec |

I know it's just a boring ol' car book, but a read will help you out. -- Tegger The Unofficial Honda/Acura FAQ www.tegger.com/hondafaq/ |

Go sit on the can, and read it cover to cover. You'll find tons of useful info in there... |

I've just had a look through the '07 CR-V Owner's Manual myself just now. There is a blizzard of description for the dashboard, but nothing by color, so I can't place that "blue light". -- Tegger The Unofficial Honda/Acura FAQ www.tegger.com/hondafaq/ |

The blue light is just an interior accent light. It provides just a dim glow to your interior, its kind of nice because the light it emits is barely noticable but if you cover it up you will notice how much darker it gets in your console area. My civic has one as well. -- BlackGT2000 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BlackGT2000's Profile: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...?userid=336868 View this thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=659257 http://www.automotiveforums.com |

I have read the manuals front to back, all they do is mention the courtesy light and show a drawing of it.......no more info than that. Thanks for nothing. |

It is above the rear view mirror in-between the vanity lights. Just a
tiny blue light next to an area with small holes that looks like a speaker. The manual shows it, calls it a courtesy light and does not mention the speaker-like thingy at all.
