What are the possilbe causes for this?

Usually, it's one of the oxygen sensors. But it could
be a loose gas cap or any of 100's of other things.

Read the code. The good thing about the 95's is that they are OBDI and
don't need a code reader. Read this article

You'll need to read down a bit to the OBDI part.

Lots of things. You will never know until after you get the codes
downloaded and interpreted.
