Default Service Vechicle

SERVICE VECHICLE flashes occasionally on my odometer area. Only in the
morning when a cool mist or fog rolled in overnight. I get the
impression it is some sort of connection that needs WD-40. Am I
correct? If so, does anybody know where to spray?

PS I took it to a Saturn dealer and the problem could not be
reproduced. It only happens intermittently occasionally in the
mornings on a wet or foggy day.

Probably environmental. Remember the first rule of mechanics. "If it ain't
broke don't fix it."

My SL1 does the same thing when the weather is wet but after I run it for a
while and restart the light stays off. A lot better than the old Ford ('78
Granada) I had that wouldn't even start when it was raining (I guess it only
wanted to drive in the sun :-))
