Default Cigarette lighter inserts?

I have a land rover, and a GPS system that plugs into the ciggy
socket. But its way too loose. In the back, the sockets are smaller
and tighter. What's this about? Are there two different standards? Is
there an insert or something to fit into the bigger ones?

Thanks for any help!

Dean
