Get the newer 2.0 - the JTS it has 10% more power and is more efficient than
the 2.0 TS.

From memory, I believe 0-60 = 7.9 secs.

For roads with no bends I'd go for the V6.

Good point, plus you would have to buy Alfa's snorkel kit for inlet
and exhaust; don't forget to specify how many fathoms you will be
operating at.

I can´t agree to that, the V6 revs much easier, IMHO.
All the 4s I´ve driven (1.6, 2.0, 2.0JTS) felt strangled in some way and
didn´t deliver power too easily :-/

But maybe just bad luck.

In comparison, a 75TS I drove recently was hell of a drive.

Just _my_ 2 cents

cheers, Martin

Perhaps because the 75 2.0TS engine is an" old real full alfa" engine and the
156 is equiped with "new real fiat/alfa" engine?

I've got the old 8v TSpark in my 164, and I must say I much prefer it to the
16v whenever I've had one as a courtesy car or been for a test drive. I
haven't lived with the 16v for a period of time, so wouldn't be able to
comment too much, but on the whole, I think I prefer the 8v.
