Default transmission pump leaking

I had a new front transmission pump on a 2003 dodge caravan.
It wasleaking trans fuel like crazy. I brought it back and they put a
seal on the pump. It didnt leak for 24 hrs but is now leaking again.
Dealership said it had a reservoir in the pump where fuel would leak for
like a week? Is this true or will it keep leaking
