Default honda civic 1998 lx rear windshield window tint removal

The tint on my 1998 civic lx finally bubbled after 8 years. Only on
the rear window. The other windows are great. I decided to remove it
and have done a fairly nice job- windex and removed most of the glue.
However I am stumped as to how to remove the tint right behind the
third brake light. and even if I remove it, how do I scrub it down to
get the glue of
1- Can I remove the rear windshield- do the cleaning and reinstall
easily?
or
2- remove the brake housing and then clean?

any suggestions would be appreciated,

thx
