Default '53 Chevy hubcaps.. or are they?

I am going to be selling a set of hubcaps on E-Bay with all (100%) of
the proceeds going to a local tax-deductible charity. They came off a
'53 Chevy but I cannot see any manufacturer's marks on them to
identify them as original parts. Were there any markings on the
originals other than the bowtie stampings in the design, or any other
way to identify them as originals? I want to be as honest as possible
in the auction description. Thank you.
