Hi,

I'm new to the wonderfull world of driving
and wondering what fuel would give me the best
return in terms of miles per galon and price per galon on a 2003 Grand
Caravan EX 3.6L.

Just do like the owners manual suggests and stay with the 87 octane. Btw,
your eX has a 3.8L engine in it. <G>
I have an '02 with the 3.8L and have found no difference in grades of fuel.
It runs the same and milage stays the same whether I run 87-89 or 92 octane
fuel.

If you're asking about brand, whet is a good brand in one area may be crap
in another. However, most brands of gas in a given area come from the same
refinery anyway.

Only if there is more than one refinery in your area will there be any real
difference in gas and even that will be minor. The biggest customer for gas,
the government, insists that all the gas made be usable in all their
vehicles, no matter who makes it.

Read the owners manual, and don't use a higher grade than called for
Higher grade cost more and does not improve anything.
