Cooling fan problem - renault
I have a 93 Renault with a cooling fan that doesn't come on even after
the temp gauge lamp does. The fan runs fine if i hook it directly to the battery, so the motor's good. I've replaced the thermoswitch on the radiator and this didn't solve the problem. and i can't find any obvious problems with connections or wiring. there are no noticeable leaks in the system. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

Does that thermal switch activate the fan directly, or does it feed the ECM or activate a fan relay? Have you checked all fuses (and fusible links, if applicable)? |
