Model T's?
Hi, here's something I've always wondered: Where are all the Model T's?
Last year I saw 16 stock Model A's but in a year I probably only see 1 stock Model T. I've heard there's about 3 times as many Model T's as Model A's left, which would make sense since they made about 3 times as many. Some of my theroies are that (1) they were mostly converted to hotrods in the 50s (2) They're mostly in classic car museums (I'd imagine most classic car museums have at least one Model T) (3) or perhaps they're stored most of the time and only brought out occasionly since they're not built for todays roads (Model A's are more like modern cars compared to Model T's) Any answers would be appreceated. Thanks. |

Part of it is the stock T is not suitable for modern road driving (and
covert mods don't help much), part of it is people have lost interest in T's and part is that many have been made into street rods in just the last few years. You can make an A look pretty stock and still drive well but a T is hopeless. As well, many Ts stay at home, like the earlier poster said. |
