I like to own cars that I think nobody would want to steal. My
daughter's boyfriend's mom had her Toyota stolen. They got the car back
but the thieves spray panted the silver car in various places with white
paint and red primer. For some reason, they wanted it to look
conspicuous. Now it looks like a stolen car.

Little cars are not death traps if you drive them slow enough. I would
suggest 12 MPH tops. My Austin America skidded on a dry road one time.
For some reason, those early FWD cars could get oscillation in the
steering which made you lose complete control of the vehicle. I told my
wife that one day all cars were going to be front wheel drive. Boy, I
was pretty much right about that.
