Default 97 XLT 4.0 SOHC Thermostat R&R?

I'm working on my winter beater and plan to do a coolant flush and change
the thermostat. I'm hoping this will correct the slow warmups I recall from
last winter.

At a quick glance, getting to the thermostat looks more difficult than on
the other vehicles I've done this on. Can anyone recommend a source for
remove and replace instructions for this job? My Chilton's CD doesn't seem
to show the correct procedure for this engine.

Thanks
Ken

I tackled this task today. Incase if helps someone else, here's what I did.

Drained some coolant from rad petcock.
Removed engine cover.
Removed air intake between MAF and throttle body.
Removed throttle body.
Removed thermostat housing - rear screw was tough to get out.
Removed thermostat
Replaced thermostat
Reversed the order of above - rear screw was near impossible to get back in.
