salvage car

Hi,
Please,I whould need same help . I have a serious problem and I
appreciate any advice, any thoughts ,any solution.

The story is like this:
In august 2003 I bought a car(audi A 4 2001) from ebay ,a car with
salvage title (but rebuildable ) .In the last year I trayed to rebuild
the car.Like 2 mounth ago I took the car to a body shop in order to
fix something and the car was in the back yard of the shop,the shop
without having any fance.For i don't know what reson the city towed
away my car.

And now the trouble cames:
In order to pick up my car the title has to have my name in the front
of the page,beeing a salvage car.I went to DMV to put my name on the
front page of the title( now beeing on the back page )but they can't
do it because the Illinois low says that I need to be an authorized
auto rebuilder for this,which i am not. The car was bought from
Massachusetts,and has a Massachussetts title, so i called over there
and i've been told that i can do the title with my name in the front
page because I am not a Masachussetts rezident.Also I trayed to take
an authorization to retrieve the car from the company who has the name
in the front of the title and they can do this. So,now I am in vicious
circle,and I don't know what to do else.I risc that my car to be put
to the auction,loosing my car.I have a few days ramaining.
