1991 jeep cherokee inline 6
greetings, we've had the check engine light come on for some time now
but only while running for about 15mins. finally bought a odb tool and plugged her up and here's what came out. was wondering if someone can give us some directions on fixing the cause of the codes. TIA 1) 33 Open/Short detected in A/C clutch relay (the car has no A/C) 2) 35 Open/Short detected in radiator relay i assume just to replace the switch. can someone let me know where this is located and if there are any special tools/method required to retrieve it? 51 Sustain lean air/fuel ratio condition detect in 02 sensor bank 1 position 1. i assume just to replace the o2 sensor. can someone let me know where this is located and if there are any special tools/method required to retrieve it? also, are there more then 02 sensor on the car? thanks! |

When you find something with wires in it, you have found the O2 Sensor. It unscrews like a spark plug. Clear all of the other codes, and check again in a week or so. |
