Why? If every part of the plate has the same high reflectivity to the type
of flash(wavelength) the RLC uses,the alphanumerics will all blend in
together with the background,but still be visible under ordinary broadband
ambient light.The reflected flash wavelength will swamp the ambient light.

The spray covers the entire plate,not just the alphanumerics.

This also should work against license-plate reading cameras used
on some tool-booth-free toll highways (there's one such highway
in Toronto).

Did you read the article? I read like a commerical mentioning the product
name several times.

The product could work and the article could still be a newsmerical. I
just don't take the article as proof.

What about the digital videos that are made by some cameras?

Photoblocker may work against some cameras, but seems like a waste of
money in any area that has a video camera running also.

The fact that the people who run the cameras don't want to run the
test, and they want you to "take their word for it" that it doesn't
work, that speaks volumes.
