Because you're lying. You were obviously following too closely. You ****ed
him off so he pulled over rather than get rammed by the aggressive tailgater
behind him. As you passed, he wanted to let you know what you'd done wrong,
so he engaged you. You brought it on yourself.

They sure do. Texas has a lot of them on rural highways going across
what are normally dry washes. You -don't- try to cross them if water
is running across the road if you value your ride.
