We have ways to make them sell...usually in town you can get zoning on
their ass. If they have to keep it tagged it gets expensive, plus it
has to be driveable to get inspected to get tagged. Out in the country
there's little you can do. Sometimes you just have to wait until the
owner dies and the kids are usually more reasonable.

If the vehicle has substantial value, a picture and description to
the county property tax people never hurt. If the guy is a miser and
has a stash of cars, a newspaper may be interested, especially if he's
living off other people's kindness while sitting on a pile as these
guys sometimes do. If he's a churchgoer approaching the minister can
be useful if done with skill.

Professional old car whores have other tactics, which I feel loath to
disclose because they can be mean.
