Default 2003 Dodge Caravan HVAC

I just noticed that the heat is not working or come on very intermittently.
I checked all the TSBs on ALLDATA and not one mentions this. The van gets
up to operating temp mo problem, the AC works but when switch over to heat
............ it blows cool air.

Any help would be appreciated?

I hope you haven't blown a head gasket, yet. My 2001 Caravan had the same
problem. I found the answer out on another site, before mine blew. Look
under the passenger side of the van. You should see a large pipe running
from front to back. Next to that there are two or three small metal pipes
running front to back. These are probably rusted through and you are
loosing coolant. Eventually, the coolant all runs out and you overheat
very quickly, until the head blows. Goodluck getting it fixed, it is
never under warranty and the "Customer Cares" doesn't acknowledge the
problem or care! I will never own another Caravan!
