I've seen this many times. Sloth ******* will run a red to leave someone
at a light. Or they will do the same with a right on red....

Reminds me of the sloth I was behind today.... falls behind accelerating.
Light goes from green to yellow... sloth slowly makes a right on red, to
leave me at the light. Dynamic routing took hold I did a right on red to
keep moving and changed by route rather than wait an extra cycle.

Dynamic routing without forethought?

What is the advantage of "moving" over "waiting"...?

I presume you had already chosen the fastest route to your destination.
You were first in line at the light and set to accelerate to your
heart's desire.

ISTM you chose to trade time for... the false perception of earlier
arrival.

What was the rush in the first place?
